Etiology

 • EBV infection, genetic factors

Pathogenesis

 • Reed–Sternberg cells (CD15⁺, CD30⁺) → cytokine release

Clinical features

 • Painless lymphadenopathy (cervical, mediastinal)
 • “B symptoms”: fever, night sweats, weight loss
 • Alcohol-induced pain, pruritus

Lab findings

 • RS cells on biopsy (“owl’s eye” nuclei)
 • ↑ ESR, eosinophilia
 • Mediastinal mass on imaging

Treatment

 • ABVD chemotherapy
 • Radiotherapy (localized)
